Okay, check it out. Andrew and I one day were bored with being in Salt Lake, (yes that happens... amazing isn't it?) So we just
decided to leave on the weekend. Neither of us had ever been to Nebraska so we decided to go there. We told everyone at the
dorms that we would be gone for the next few days, we were planning on sleeping in WalMart parking lots, you can stay all night.
So on Thursday around 6 PM we gassed up Andrew's trusty old Contour and were off. We headed up the interstate driving toward
Wyoming, I had never been here either. By the time we reached Evanston it was dark. We pressed on. About halfway through
Wyoming we reached Little America. If you have never been here, you should go... just to see it. This one was a pretty big RV park
with a hotel and restaurant. It was pretty much America to a T. I bought a sharpie so that I could write DOOM on all the bathroom
stalls that we passed but by the second stop I had lost it, crazy eh. But we continued on through the night and by 2:30 AM had
reached the Nebraskan border. It was awesome. We pulled the car over, walked around for awhile (I saw a shooting star) and then
got back in the car. We decided to not stay in Wyoming or Nebraska, so we headed off back to Salt Lake. I drove most of the way
back, I got a sleeping picture of Andrew during this stretch. We got back at around 8 in the morning after about 14 hours of
straight driving. It was awesome. And now I have a rock from Nebraska.
